ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Moonlight Foundation Subotica was pleased to be informed by the Co-operating Netherlands Foundations for Central and Eastern Europe that it has decided to support the project of our Foundation entitled Moonlight Children’s Centre.

The implementation of the above project is made possible by the Co-operating Netherlands Foundations for Central and Eastern Europe through the Social Transformation programme of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in cooperation with the Balcan Community Initiatives Fund.

The Board of the Moonlight Foundation wishes to thank CNF CEE and BCIF from Belgrade as its partner organisation in Serbia for the support and placing their confidence in us.

Example of social responsibility

As an act of true philanthropy, Mr Gábor Kovács, CEO of Fornetti Factory in Subotica, and co-founder of our Foundation, donated a foosball table, a dartboard and a water dispenser, that is also suitable for preparing Fornevita soft drinks, to the newly opened Moonlight Children’s Centre – and what is more he also offered to give one of the latter to all Moonlight Clubs in Subotica. In addition, he also offered to support the realization of the children’s charity programme initiated and supported by the Co-operating Netherlands Foundations for Central and Eastern Europe by providing the above sports equipment for the seven children’s centres operating in Bosnia on similar principles.

Furthermore, Mr Kovács also made a promise to provide support to the new Moonlight Clubs that will open in the future, and which our Foundation wishes to initiate by inviting grant applications. More information will be available about this on our website soon.

We wish to express our sincere gratitude to Mr Kovács for this outstanding example of social responsibility, which will hopefully be a model to be followed for others too.
